The industry runs on chaos — group texts, late timesheets, compliance tracked in someone's head. We didn't think that was a software problem nobody could solve. We thought it was one nobody had built for properly.

Anyone who's run a desk in labour hire knows the pattern: a dozen orders for tomorrow, the right crew buried in a database, tickets expiring on dates nobody's watching, and timesheets argued over on Friday. The tools that existed handled the recruiting, or the payroll — but the bit in the middle, actually running the crew day to day, was still phone calls and spreadsheets. OnCrew was built to own that middle: fill the shift with the right compliant worker, verify the hours at the gate, chase the no-shows, and hand clean data to payroll. The work that ate the day, automated.

OnCrew is built by people who came up through Australian labour hire — who spent years on the desk and on site doing the 5am calls and the Friday timesheet chase by hand. We're based in New South Wales, and we build for Australian and New Zealand conditions: the tickets, the awards reality, the way crews actually work here. We're not a global platform adapted for the local market — we're the opposite. OnCrew exists to take the grind off your plate so you can grow the business, not the admin.
